While our clothing doesn't come pre-shrunk, we wouldn’t want you to be too concerned about it. All cotton products tend to shrink a bit naturally. As a best practice, we suggest keeping our products away from too much heat, so as to avoid excessive shrinkage.

From our fabric to our dyes, we keep it all natural and hence some fading can be expected over time. But here are some easy ways we suggest to keep those prints and colours looking strong:

  • Try washing without the use of potent detergents and avoid bleach altogether
  • Tumble dry on low

Here are some small tips to keep our clothing durable and their colours/prints strong:

  • Try using gentler detergents

A slight variation in colour can be expected as the appearance of colours can vary based on your monitor’s settings, and even the lighting conditions during the product’s photoshoot.

Organic Cotton is cultivated mindfully, without the use of genetically modified seeds, and synthetic chemicals such as fertilisers and pesticides. This makes it safe for the environment, the cotton workers, and ultimately, the consumers. 

Completely devoid of any harmful chemicals, organic cotton is known to be hypoallergenic and extremely gentle on baby skin. 

Aside from Organic cotton having several health benefits over regular cotton, it feels so much better on the skin. As a parent, it’s only natural for us to procure the safest products for our child’s health and development. And because the cultivation of Organic Cotton is easy on the environment, nothing parallels the feeling of providing the best for our families while being mindful towards the home we all share, which is our beloved Mother Earth.

GOTS is an acronym for The Global Organic Textile Standard. The purpose of GOTS certification is to ensure the organic status of the textile for the consumer. This means GOTS certified clothing has been sourced through environmentally conscious methods, and was responsibly manufactured all the way to its labelling.

Payments & Safety

Yes, we do accept online payments.

We support the following payment options:

  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card (only if your issuer bank permits online transactions)
  • Net Banking (within India only)
  • UPI
  • Cash on Delivery

Yes we do accept COD payments.

Shipping & Delivery

Yes, for all orders placed in India shipping is free. 

In the case of international orders, shipping rates will be calculated based on the rate calculator. Please note that currently we are not taking international orders.  

While we do plan to ship internationally very soon, currently we are not taking orders for outside of India.

An order once confirmed will usually take within 5-6 working days to be delivered. If your order is taking longer than its estimated time of arrival, please feel free to reach out to us here.

We partner with ShipRocket for the delivery of all our orders. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive order tracking details on your registered email ID.

Returns & Refunds

Yes, you can cancel your prepaid or COD order as long as your cancellation request comes within 24 hours of placing your order with us. In the case of prepaid orders, we can offer you a refund or a credit note for the same amount.

Yes but exchange is only available for orders placed domestically. If any of the items from your order are damaged or wrong (in type, print or size), you can raise an exchange query with us via mail at hello@olaotter.com within 24-48 hours or order delivery. You can even raise your exchange query right here on our website through this link: https://olaotter.com/pages/contact

Upon receiving your exchange request we will reach out to you, assess, and facilitate the pickup of the item at a time convenient to you. Kindly note that any and all items requested for exchange should be unworn, unwashed, and will have to be returned with all their original packaging and tags to be eligible. 

Once we have the items back at our warehouse, they'll go under quality inspection, and if approved for exchange we will dispatch the correct fresh items to you within 7-10 working days.

In order to help our customers make informed choices, we make extra effort to ensure that our product listings are as accurate and descriptive as possible. Moreover, prior to the dispatch of an order, we undertake multiple quality checks so that the right items reach you in perfect condition, each time you choose Ola! Otter. But still, we are otters (read: human) after all and can make errors despite our best efforts.

Currently, we are not accepting order returns but you can request for the exchange of an item if it’s damaged, or wrong or missing. Learn more about our exchange policy here.

Yes, for items that qualify for exchange, we facilitate reverse pickups from our customers. Check out our exchange policy for further information, here.

Regrettably, items once sold and delivered cannot be returned and refunded. However, if any of the items from your order are defective, or wrong or missing, you could request for the exchange of said items.
